Growing up on the Pacific West Coast I used to oggle over these big neat blobs crawling all over the beaches. As you can probably guess a number of factors have led to a huge decrease in their numbers and now you can count yourself lucky if you find one of their shells, but I keep looking and hoping they'll bounce back one day
Nature always finds a way.
